Overall rating:
AT LAST! Coeliacs can eat at a train station! I never used to be able to buy any food before a journey – so Leon is a revelation. Big fan of the meatballs and curries. And so nice to see ALL cakes there are gf too. I only wish Leon was in the North as well.

I visited Leon for the first time last week. It was so good that I went twice in 3 days! Since I was diagnosed with coeliac disease and lactose intolerance I have never had such an easy meal – DF and GF are clearly marked on the menu board and I know from Safer Eating that they understand about preventing cross-contamination etc, so I didn’t even need to specify anything. I almost didn’t have time to choose what I wanted in time (despite a long queue that went down very quickly) – as there were a few options that I could have. I opted for paprika meatballs the first time and they were absolutely divine. The next time I went for the Thai curry, and shared the Moroccan meatballs and baked fries with a friend. I don’t care if they don’t go together – I was over excited. The service was extremely quick and the venue good ( as you would expect for in the middle of a train station). I definitely recommend a visit for any tricky eaters. I think I’ll be back every time I go through King’s Cross.
