After undergoing a major refurbishment in 2013, as part of our commitment to bring you the best Thai dining experience in Yorkshire, Chapel Allerton was, of course, the very first Sukhothai to open its doors to just 20 customers, back in 2002. Now a much-loved Leeds institution and named as one of the top ten Thai restaurants in the country by The Times AND The Sunday Times, it's also been listed in The Good Food Guide every year since 2008. You can also take advantage of its popular Sunday Buffet 12-3pm.

Overall rating:
We have had takeaway from this Sukhothai 5 times now and it has been gorgeous every time. I have had no problems ordering on the phone with regards to gluten and lactose free (which is normally a bit of a nightmare). They are happy to adapt most dishes which is great. It takes me ages to order as I am only used to being able to have 1-2 safe dishes. I have had a variety of soups, salads, curries and stir-fries. Lovely lovely lovely. I would eat Thai every night if I could. Everything tastes very authentic and the presentation is great even when for a takeaway. They even mark the tubs clearly indicating which is gluten free. Thank you for being so close to my house Sukhothai :). Although we have not eaten in the restaurant, I have still scored it highly as we collect the takeaways from the venue.
