Chocolate chip cookies

Ingredients

125g dairy-free sunflower spread (e.g. Pure)

75g soft brown sugar

150g gluten-free plain flour (e.g. Dove’s Farm)

75g gluten-free self-raising flour (e.g. Dove’s Farm)

50g dairy-free/dark chocolate – chopped (check for soya, lactose/milk and gluten)


Method

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C

2. Grease and line 2 baking trays

3. Cream together the spread and sugar until pale and fluffy

4. Sift in the flours and stir them in

5. Add the chocolate pieces and stir well

6. Knead the mixture to form a dough

7. Roll the mixture into 15-20 balls

8. Put them onto the baking sheets (8-10 per sheet) and press the top of the balls slightly

9. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until a light, golden brown

10. Transfer them to a wire rack to cool
