Sweet and spicy chickpeas



Free from:

gluten, milk/lactose, nuts, lupin, sesame, meat, fish, crustaceans, molluscs, mustard, celery, soya, egg, sulphites

Cooking time:

5 minutes




1 small can of chickpeas

1 tsp coconut oil

Squeeze of date syrup

Sprinkle of cayenne pepper

1 tsp cinnamon


1. Drain and rinse the chickpeas

2. Add the coconut oil to a frying pan. Fry the chickpeas for approximately 5 minutes

3. Add the date syrup, cayenne pepper and cinnamon. They are great like this, but if you want them a little crispier – place them on a baking tray in the oven for 15 minutes
